‘Telling a story about global trade to the world’
A content driven brand experience and flagship project @ Dubai EXPO 2020.
DP World is a global supply-chain solutions leader and pioneer, moving 10% of global trade through space and time to make the world flow.
Working a part of the core team at Open, we built a world around this connected idea. To unpack the story of trade to a universal audience in an exponentially changing digital world, the experience was split across four major galleries and experience environments, each themed under EXPOs themes of Connectivity, Mobility, Opportunity and Sustainability.
Creatively developed and implemented the design language and approach across all physical touch points. Integrating a flow driven experience narrative; across architecture, a digital façade, interior design, way-finding, service design and guest experience.
Closely co-ordinated with teams in UX, LX, media, content making, model making and fabrication, across an area totalling over 5200 square meters of active experience space. Seamlessly connected through an open atrium over four floors linked together by a continuous spiralling ramp around a four storey digital waterfall that acted as the central performance to the pavilion.
